Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance do you book?
A good time to book your session is 1-2 months in advance.
Newborn Sessions, should be booked while you are still pregnant. Your due date will be documented, and once your baby is born you can contact me to schedule your session. The best time to capture your newborn is when they are 5-10 days old. I have limited time available, so please don't wait till last minute to book your session.
Do you have props or do we bring our own?

I have a large variety of props that is offered to clients that book in-studio sessions. My props
include hats, headbands, baskets, wraps, tutus, and much more. I welcome personal props as well if you
have anything you'd like to use, but note it is not required. I recommend, bringing things that are
sentimential. For example: grandma's knitted blanket, sonogram photos, baby shoes, sports memorabilia,
military apparel etc.
Can siblings and parents be in a photo?
Definitely! For newborn and baby sessions I capture the baby alone, with sibling(s), with parents, and with immediate family. The family & sibling portraits are typically the first thing we try to capture if siblings are involved.
What should I/we wear?
I do not recommend large logos and busy patterns. Textures are great. Wear something that represents
you, and makes you comfortable. A change of clothing is welcome to full sessions. For newborn
sessions, a change of clothes is recommended for family in case the baby has an accident on you.
For group photos, coordinated outfits are pleasing to the eye, but not a necessity.
